SBC Warranty at VersaLogic

Warranty Description

EBX, EPIC, PC/104, and PC/104-Plus board-level products and accessories manufactured by VersaLogic Corporation are covered from the date of shipment by a five-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. During the warranty period, VersaLogic will repair or replace, at its option, defective units provided they are returned at customer expense to VersaLogic. Products which have been subjected to misuse, abuse, neglect, alteration, or unauthorized repair, as determined by VersaLogic, whether by accident or intent, are excluded from warranty. The warranty on software is limited to one year. Products and accessories not manufactured by VersaLogic are limited to the warranty provided by the original manufacturer. Calibration of analog I/O products and consumable products (batteries, fuses, etc.) are not covered under this warranty. Conformal coated products may not be repairable either in or out of warranty. This warranty supersedes any other warranty, expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, any warranty for fitness of purpose, merchantability, and/or any warranty arising out of any proposal, specification, or sample. The liability of VersaLogic under this warranty agreement is limited to a refund of the purchase price. In no event shall VersaLogic be liable for loss of profits, use, incidental, consequential, or other damage, under this agreement.

RMA Procedures

All VersaLogic products are thoroughly tested before shipping. In the unlikely event of a problem, contact VersaLogic's Technical Support Department for a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number before returning any product(s) for service. You will need to provide us with the serial number(s), a description of the problem, and an explanation of steps you have taken to try to resolve the problem. Shipping of the product to VersaLogic is paid for by the customer. An evaluation fee is applied to any board returned without an explanation of the nature of the failure. The fee applies whether or not the board is under warranty. If the board is under warranty, all material and labor needed to repair the product will be fully covered under warranty, but the fee will be applied. This fee is avoided by supplying VersaLogic with a general description of the problem.

Repair Policy

All VersaLogic repair work is warranted for 90 days or the remainder of the original warranty period, whichever is greater. Our normal turn-around time is 30 calendar days after receipt of product(s).

Return Policy

Returns will be subject to a restocking fee. Product/s must be returned unopened and undamaged within 30 days of original shipment. Product kept longer than 30 days, even in unopened condition, is not eligible for return. Please contact VersaLogic to arrange a return.

Return Shipping

If the repair is covered under warranty, it will be returned via UPS Ground service at our expense. If you wish to have the product shipped via another method, please advise Customer Support when you request an RMA. Additional charges may apply. If the repair is non-warranty, you will be billed for return shipping charges. Please tell our Customer Service representative what shipping method you prefer when you request an RMA.
